Reportage in analog photography and video. »Provide the Slide« is a Swiss NGO aiming at shipping old, unused surfboards from Europe to communities along the West African coast. Since their first shipment in 2019 they delivered hundreds of boards to other villages in Ghana, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Kap Verden & Sierra Leone.
To capture life now in the first community that received a container, I travelled to Liberia and portrayed the village and the change a few surfboards can make.
